I don't get the big deal about full 3D holograms. Do we really need to see someone's arse in order to feel that we're "really talking to them"? If you've seen Minority Report, you'll probably have seen their idea of 3D imaging in the near future, but it just didn't look good to me. So long as I have a 50-inch OLED-HTDV and a hybrid BluRay/HD-DVD player, I'll be immersed enough.
